Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s big update fixes around 1,000 issues

In addition to adding mod support, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s major update fixes around 1,000 bugs and issues.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 recently received a major update that Warhorse Studios says is the result of five months of focused work on fixing issues and improving the quality of the game experience. The update includes over 1,000 fixes to fix issues and bugs, along with improvements to gameplay balance, NPC behavior, environment design, and new tricks to improve equipment performance. Warhorse has also made the game’s first free expansion available to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players with the update. The free expansion adds a hairstyling mode to the game, allowing players to change the appearance of Arti, including his hairstyle and beard. It seems that this new mode is not just decorative, and creating a look like a noble, a warrior, or a messy look like a tramp can make a difference to Arti. Warhorse has also confirmed that changing hair styles can temporarily change Arti’s charisma level.

Another addition in update 1.2 is the game’s dedicated support for the Steam Store’s modding tools. The update also introduces a new set of tools integrated with Steam Workshop. According to Warhorse Studios, these modding tools will allow interested players to modify over 300 in-game elements, including the user interface, combat mechanics, role-playing elements, AI behavior, and more. In addition, the developer of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will be hosting a live event with the developers on March 20, 2025, to further discuss the extensive changes made in update 1.2.
