Death Stranding 2: On the Beach' reveals new gameplay and a release date

Kojima Productions has unveiled a new pre-order trailer for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the sequel to the 2019 title Death Stranding.

The trailer showcases the game’s signature blend of enigmatic storytelling and striking visuals. It reintroduces familiar characters such as Sam Porter Bridges (portrayed by Norman Reedus) and Fragile (Léa Seydoux), while also introducing new figures like Tomorrow (Elle Fanning) and Rainy (Shioli Kutsuna). Notably, a character named Neil, played by Luca Marinelli, bears a striking resemblance to Solid Snake from the Metal Gear series, sparking fan speculation about potential connections or homages.

The game is scheduled for release on June 26, 2025, exclusively for PlayStation 5.

Pre-ordering any edition provides bonuses like early access starting June 24, 2025, and exclusive in-game items.
