Nvidia unveils RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 graphics cards today

Nvidia has just confirmed the exact launch date for its highly anticipated RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 budget graphics cards. According to a report by Videocardz, it seems that the time has finally come for the introduction of the long-awaited RTX 5060 series graphics cards from Nvidia’s new generation of products, which a large part of PC gamers have undoubtedly been waiting for. Nvidia has officially announced the time of their introduction by confirming the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 graphics cards for the desktop platform. Although the official and final specifications of these products have not yet reached us, it seems that the information leaked from reliable unofficial sources will finally be confirmed. Accordingly, gamers should wait for the unveiling of three graphics cards in this series, which include 16 and 8 GB versions of the RTX 5060 Ti and its non-Ti version. Previous information indicated that all 3 models in this series use the same motherboard design and even GPU, and the only difference is the amount of graphics memory and power consumption. As such, Nvidia’s partners will introduce a variety of Ti and non-Ti models of this graphics card, which will likely be very similar, especially considering that their power consumption is stated to be between 150 and 180 watts, with some high-end models reaching 200 watts.

The RTX 5060 Ti graphics card has 4,608 CUDA cores, which is 6% more than the RTX 4060 Ti from the previous generation. The RTX 4060 Ti was also introduced in two configurations: 8GB and 16GB. The main difference between the two generations is the new generation of GDDR7 graphics memory technology, which is expected to improve the data transfer bandwidth of its memory. If Nvidia maintains the speed of 28Gbps for its new product, its memory bandwidth will be more than 50% higher than the previous generation models. Another important point is that Nvidia will no longer differentiate between GDDR_X and non-X memory in Ti and non-Ti models in this generation; since GDDR7 memory modules have not yet been introduced in the GDDR_X version. So it seems that there is no excuse not to use its maximum memory speed in lower-end models. The RTX 5060, on the other hand, has 3,840 active cores and is limited to 8GB of memory, which is 25% more cores than its predecessor. The GPU has also been upgraded from the XX6 (GB206) to the XX7 (AD107), which is an improvement in itself.

According to the news, the RTX 5060 series graphics cards should be released in April after being introduced at today’s GDC event.
